SMS Terms & Consent
Last updated: June 10, 2026
These SMS Terms & Consent ("SMS Terms") govern the text messaging services provided by PeteTech Tools ("PeteTech Tools," "we," "us," or "our") on behalf of the businesses that use our platform. By providing your phone number and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to these SMS Terms.
1. When you receive messages
You may receive text messages from PeteTech Tools or from a business using PeteTech Tools when:
- You call a business that uses PeteTech Tools and the business misses your call.
- You provide your phone number and explicitly opt in to receive messages from a PeteTech Tools customer.
- You reply to a message sent through PeteTech Tools and we respond to your reply.
2. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on call activity. Typically, you will receive:
- 1–5 messages per week for missed-call follow-ups, depending on how often you call.
- Occasional account or service messages (e.g., opt-in confirmation, delivery receipts).
If at any time you'd like to stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any message (see Section 5 below).
3. How consent is obtained
Consent to receive text messages is obtained in one of the following ways:
- Implied consent via call: When you call a business that uses PeteTech Tools, and the call is missed, the business may send you a one-time follow-up SMS. Your act of calling constitutes implied consent for that single follow-up message.
- Explicit opt-in: When you voluntarily provide your phone number and expressly agree to receive messages (e.g., via a web form, checkbox, or verbal request to the business).
- Transactional or informational: Messages sent in response to a specific request or as part of a service you have requested.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties except as necessary to deliver the service (e.g., Twilio as our telecommunications provider).
4. Supported carriers
Messages are delivered via participating US carriers, which may include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile®, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular®, MetroPCS, Cricket, and other regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You may opt out of receiving text messages from PeteTech Tools or a business using PeteTech Tools at any time:
- Reply STOP to any text message you receive through the service.
- We will send a single confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.
- After opt-out, you will not receive further non-essential text messages through the service, except where legally permitted or required (e.g., a final confirmation).
- If you later wish to resume receiving messages, reply START where supported, or contact the business directly.
6. How to get help (HELP)
For help or questions about the text messages you receive:
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance.
- Contact us directly at [email protected].
- Visit https://petetech.tools for more information.
7. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply for each message sent or received. Rates vary by carrier and plan. Please check with your mobile carrier for details. PeteTech Tools and the businesses using PeteTech Tools are not responsible for any charges incurred.
8. Data privacy
Phone numbers, message content, and opt-in/opt-out preferences are collected and used solely to provide and operate the text messaging service. PeteTech Tools does not sell, share, or use mobile information for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
9. Changes to these SMS Terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued receipt of messages after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
